Brake Fluid Flush

You can flush it with alchol or even water then alchol as brake fluid is gylcol based and soluble in water and alchol. It will not mixute with a petroleum based flush.

Suck as much out of the reservoir with a syringe or baster, and replace with new fluid, the start at the right rear wheel and pump out the fluid till it runs clear like the new, bleed out the air of course, then left rear, then right front, then left front. Make sure that the reservoir doesn't go dry in the process. Assuming you know how to bleed brakes properly... Atleast that's how I did mine.

Where did you get that idea?

 

The best way is to simply push clean brake fluid through the system and keep doing it until all old brake fluid is forced out of the system.

Mine is at 199k and never been flushed (although gradual replacement has occurred), but my truck was built when they didn't recommend this sort of activity to make a buck...
