Kick Panel Enclosures

I have a set of the following for my truck

 

 

Has anyone put these in? What type of speakers did you use and how are they wired? I would also like to replace the front door speakers. Any help would be appreciated.

Damn, that's going to be a lot of noise up front man!

 

If I were going the kickpanel route like that AND adding new door speakers, I'd probably put at least one set of true midrange drivers...Like a 6.5" woofer, no tweeter, in there.

 

Figuring out how to wire them will be a trick...you're adding two channels of sound.

 

Are you planning on adding amps too?
