MGraber Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 I recently had to have my transmission rebuilt on a 2000 silverado with 95k miles. While I was a little PO'ed I have since tried to block it out. However, my brother just had the same thing happen on his 2002 blazer (I'm guessing it is a different transmission). So that got me thinking, when does GM or any of the dealers decide to issue a TSB? Is it based on number of repairs at the dealership? If so I did not have a dealer fix mine, I went to a transmission specialist. Should I call GM just to report the problem in case it does become more common? Thanks for listening to my ramble. Mark
