i have a 1995 z71 k1500. bought some wheels for it. they are 6 x 139.7 with a +25mm offset. tire shop tells me i need a 0-15mm offset to keep from rubbing. what can i do to make these wheels fit?

will spacers help. or maybe a body lift?

I think you had better read that wheel size number again. The first number should be the wheel size(15", 16", !7", etc) and the second number should be the width of the wheel measured in inches. If your wheel width is 139.7 mm then the width is about 5.5". Also find out the backspacing of the wheel which is the distance from the mounting surface of the wheel to the outer lip of the rim on the inside.

the 6 x 139.7 is the bolt pattern........ and they are 16 x 8. the problem is, they are on ebay, and the seller won't answer my question bout backspace. i was just wonderin if anyone else has run into this problem. After doin some research, i found that spacers would solve the problem.

thanx for the help :gmc:

If they are 8" wide with a +25 offset, then they have about 5" of backspacing. They should fit just fine. Stock wheels have slightly more backspacing then that and I run wheels with 5.6" of backspacing with no problems.
