Been the best truck I have ever owned. Has never had the valve covers off of it. I perform all maintenance myself. Still does not burn oil. How about anyone else have this good of luck?

I have 104 on mine and I can see it being just as trouble free, but it would take me 15 more years to get those kind of miles and I like a change every once in a while, so I doubt it will be me seeing the odo roll over to 400k.

I wonder what you get for being a DOUBLE 200K club member, Hell i would ask them for a new truck at 500,000

Yea, I'm pretty proud of mine as well.

Def. gotta see the odometer.

There are lots of phantom posters on the 200k website. I hope they get around to correcting that.

a bud of mine had 380,000 miles on his 72 Impala.

was second owner.

bought car in 74.

50 miles a day for 20 something years.

he finally got a chebbie truck some years back, he managed to wear out the rear end in the Impala and thought it was time to retire the car.I think he sold it to a Brother, they seem to like that kinda car.

guy was a trip, he could tell you how many timing chains, radiators, etc he'd put in that car.

he always kept up on the maintnence and had good tires on the car but I dont think he'd ever washed it.

Called the car " THE HEAP"

was a thing of beauty.
