pcm tunes and 2-3 upshift clunk

Anyone have a pcm tune done and have the 2-3 upshift clunk dissappear?

I have a 1-2 upshift clunk at about 20mph. Especially if it shifts right when I lift off of it. I have heard that the 2-3 is much more prevelant around here.

I have both, and they got better with the tune, but still there.

Mine doesnt clunk, but it feels like the tranny's slips just a little, from 1st to 2nd on occasions. We might be talking about the same thing.

 

Besides that I had my first "start off in 2nd gear from a stop" experience for the first time yesterday. Weird, I read about it on here the same day and thought to myself "good thing thats never happend to me"

Nobody else can ever feel these things happening either. Especially not my wife

 

We'll be on a 200 mile drive and it will do it off a light and I will go "Did you just feel that! tranny slipped" and she is like "no, I'm sorry I didn't notice anything". And she will be the one driving...

My last girlfriend hit a parked car, a lifted Suburban to be specific, in her brand spanking new car. She wasn't even sure that she did it until she got out and saw the dents. She was a little off sometimes.

 

As for the topic...My tune made my shifts 1000% better. It would slip-slip-slip-BANG from 1-2 at part throttle from the factory. Now it shifts perfectly.

I'm glad to hear this. My new 2007 just started the 2-3 upshift clunk and I'm planning a reprogrammer soon.

My 04 has a 2-3 upshift clunk and sometimes 1-2 depending on my speed. It's had it since the day i got it new and the dealership couldn't tell me what it was so i've always wondered but glad to here the tune helps out.
