350 3.73 mileage?

A friend of mine bought a 98 GMC Sierra, 350 with 3.73 in the rear (auto)...yeah, its a power house...its got a long bed, and its 2wd...and she...yes...she...loves it.

 

Anyone know some MPG stats?

I dont know of any official stats on MPG but my 95 350 with 3.73 in the rear get about 17.8 on the highway, and as low as 12 in the city. I have taken some of the factory air restritors off of it though, goood luck and enjoy your friends truck, its a beast

My Dad's truck is a 4x4 5.7l with 3.73's his mileage is nearly identicle to mine, which is a 5.3l 4x4 with 3.73's 14-15 avg. MPG. A 2wd will be significantly better (3-5 MPG).
