Has anyone noticed the two little black strips on the windshield under the wipers? They seem to be in the glass, they are about 1/2" long and 1/8" wide. Do they have a purpose?

No, I hadn't, but now that you mention it, I'll probably look.

I went and looked and there they were!!!  They line up at the ends of the wiper arms.  If I had to guess, I'd say they were there to make sure the wiper arms are installed correctly at the factory.  If that's not the reason, then I'm clueless...

That's what they are there for, assembly guides for the person putting the wiper arms on at the factory.

So this raises a question, of course I had to look at mine, the passenger side one was on the line, but the driver's side was an inch above it.  I had taken the truck in before because when I pulled the driver's side wiper back to wash the windshield it would rub on the hood.  So, there fix was to adjust it up.  I noticed when I got it back that it was going closer to the edge of the windshield than it was before.  Do you think this is something I should be worried about???  Because I'm guessing it was the dealers way of fixing it w/o actually fixing it.

It sure looks, to me, that the driver's bucket seat is slightly to the outside(left) of the center of the steering wheel?

when driveing I notice I can lean my right arm on the armrest and hold the wheel, but my left arm resting on the door rest isn't close.

 

Just wondering if anyone had noticed this...

Haven't notice this but now that you point it out I will look.
