Ordered a new 2007

Well, today I ordered a brand new 2007 GMC Sierra. 4x4, 6.0 liter V-8, SLT, navigation, XM, Rear DVD, sunroof, etc. Ordered it with about every possible upgrade I could.

 

The MSRP is 46,140 (ouch!! ) and they are selling it to me for 41,421. Not bad. Just a hair over invoice....so they say. 6-8 weeks for it to get here. I will lose sleep waiting for it. I wish it was on the lot.

 

Now I just need to sell my limp model F-150.

unloadit, i'm gonna get the same exact truck, loaded to the gills, could you 'choose' the trailer package, or does it automatically come with the Max package? i am apprehensive on how it will ride with the trailer package cause it says it has HD-shocks? But I must have the 6.0/4.10's, as I can't get a 8.1L anymore (want it, want it). Please let me/us know asap, as there are still NO new trucks in jersey yet for me to drive.

Z85....SUSPENSION PACKAGE, HANDLING/TRAILERING, HEAVY-DUTY. Includes 46 mm piston monotube shocks and 34mm front stabilizer bar. (includes 36mm front stabilizer bar when (NHT) Max Trailering Pack is orderd)

 

L76....ENGINE, VORTEC 6.0L V8 SFI WITH ACTIVE FUEL MANAGEMENT, includes external engine oil cooler, auxilary external transmission oil cooler, heavy-duty 9.5" trailering axle and door badge that reads "Vortec Max".

 

M70....TRANSMISSION, 4-SPEED AUTOMATIC, SUPER-DUTY

 

C6A..... GVWR, 7300 LBS

 

G80......DIFFERENTIAL, HEAVY-DUTY AUTOMATIC LOCKING REAR, included with max trailering pack or SLE/SLT Trailering package.

 

GT5.....rear axle, 4.10 ratio (requires TK10543 models and Vortec 6.0L V8 SFI engine and Max Trailering Pack

 

NHT....MAX TRAILERING PACK.....too much crap after that to list

 

PCY....SLE/SLT TRAILERING PACKAGE, includes high capacity air cleaner, etc.

 

Z82.....TRAILERING EQUIPMENT, HEAVY-DUTY includes trailering hitch platform and 2 inch receiver, 7 wire harness, etc.

 

NZZ....SKID PLATE PACKAGE

Nice...pretty much the same thing I want. I may order mine this week. I priced them online and got about 45k. With my discount...Im hoping lower 30's...we will see.

That's the exact truck I will probably buy, if there's no news on a 8.1L replacement in the coming months. Please let us know how it rides, as I'm a little gun-shy over the HD shocks. I ordered them once and they were rock hard, easy enough to change though.

my gmc dealer finally got one of these trucks it's a 4x4 z71 offroad. It has the 5.3 displacement on demand engine. I think they are good looking trucks if they would just get rid of the bulges around the wheel wells. The bulges look really out of place to me. Also I didn't think I would like the stacked headlights judging by the pictures but in person the stacked headlights look good to me.
