tighting or tortion bars

Does anyone have any info about tighting you tortion bars so that your truck will set level. I have herd that it will cause transmition problems, but I dont know for shore. I have a friend that is a machanic and he says that it won't hurt anything, but I would like more imput from other peeps before I go changing stuff..

Torsion bars will in no way afect the transmission, who ever told you that is smoking some good stuff.

I don't see how it would affect the transmission. After changing the height by adjusting the bars, you'll need to have it aligned.

Unless you consider your axles/cv joints part of the transmission, which they are not.
