in need of an end gate

any end gate that will fit an 89 1500 and have no rust. The hinges on my endgate have rusted through and no longer works. Prefer to be from minnesota(south of minneapolis)

Anyone know of a good place to get a good deal on a new or slightly used engate?

If the tailgate itself still works, then all you gotta do is get new hinges. The dealer may have some, but I doubt it. Try searching Google.

yeah, get new hinges, i can maybe get some from a local junkyard and ship them to you

yes it is the hinge on the side towards the bottom is broken. It was welded on so i would have to get that one off and reweld the new one on. The endgate its self is not in the greatest shape but if i can get a new hinge that would probably be fine. Thanks

went to open the engate today and the rod inside the engate also has broken. I think I might as well just get a brand new one. Any suggestions for a cheap place to get one. Hopefully gonna get it for christmas!
