Front Hub nut size

Just ordered some new hubs. I'm down to one vehicle now, so I'd like to make sure I have everything I need before taking it apart.

I read one post that said the hub nut was 36mm. Can anyone confirm this?

With the lousy weather, and the truck too big for the garage, I'd rather not jack it up outside, take off a wheel, then put it all back together in the snow and dark, just so I can drive up to the parts store, come back, and take it all apart again.

If I could get the benefit of someone else's experience, it would be much appreciated.

Ordered a new set of nuts from rock auto. Came next day.

Anyhow, going by my metric ruler, they look like 35mm to me. Of course, when you get up this large, +/- a millimeter is probably not a huge deal.

Interestingly, the nuts have "crowns" that have three indentations around the perimeter, making them essentially locking nuts. I guess this is why GM wants you to replace them (at least that's what another thread said).
