Strange Electrical Problems

I have a 2003 GMC Yukon with about 30K miles on it. I am having a series of what I would consider to be minor but frustrating electrical issues. They are:

- Randomly resetting trip odometer

- Sporadically switching languages between french, spanish and english

- Randomly switching the display between the hours meter, odometer and trip odometer

- Ocassionally displaying the 'driver side door ajar' message while sounding chime and turning on dome light

- Displaying the 'service 4-wheel drive system' message and disabling the 4 wheel drive; then when truck is restarted all is fine

In addition, about a year ago, the AC cycler switch was replaced after turning on and off constantly and blowing out the AC compressor.

These problems do not happen all the time. It may do any one, or a combination of these, for a week and then stop and operate normally for a couple of weeks.

There are no codes displaying.

Do I need a mechanic or an exorcist!

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

One of the most common causes from what I've seen is bad grounds or a battery / electrical system that is not charging properly. With all the electronics and computers these vehicles are very sensitive to correct voltage.
