Sirius SIR-GM1 antenna adapter

I recently found an ebay auction for an antenna adapter when using the SIR-GM1 and your stock XM antenna. If your like me, you'd rather not have a 3rd antenna on your roof.

This adapter has the baby crap colored fitting on one end, it looks just like the adapter on the XM box behind the glove box, this fits the stock connector. The other end has the fat round stubby connector to fit onto the SIR-GM1 unit.

I installed this on my 04 Sierra and it works great. Just ordered another for my Denali.

Ive seen some posts of people having to tape the antenna wire down when trying to use the stock antenna. NO NEED WITH THIS!

This adapter sells for $25. Well worth it. At least I think so.

I bought one from him, now I have to get the SIR-GM1. Waiting for a possible $100.00 gift card from a contest at work. If I don't get the card, I'll have to cough up $100.00.
