2007 Suburban Stock Radio Upgrade

Before I purchase a stock chevy dvd player (15884146) on ebay, let me ask a few simple questions.. Will theftlock cause problems? Can it be re-programed? How will I connect my aftermarket monitors to the new radio, are the connections in the Suburban already? Or will I need additional connections / wire harnesses? I thought this would be a cheaper way to add a DVD and keep all the on-star / XM / truck sounds... Any advice?

2007 Suburban LS

Thanks!

I installed an aux. input so I could plug in my MP3 player and not have to carry a bunch of CD's with me. good set-up. You could even plug in a portable DVD player and have the sound come through you car stereo, makes the movie sound great.

what are you doing with your stock radio? i might be interested...

Assuming I can get this new one installed and functioning, I would be willing to sell it.

Delco make a direct replacement dvd/nav system for 03-07 cars. Check out Crutchfield for the info, not the prices.

It is a plug and play system, no wires, no harnesses, and everything works (onstar etc)
