Well I think most of you have seen My Truck. I wanted to get everyones opinions on which steps they think would look better on my truck. Please vote and leave comments.

After ordering my truck, I decided to shop around for Nerf bars. I knew I wanted stainless steel, and at the time I could not get a straight answer out of my dealer whether the GM 6" Oval were chromed steel or chromed stainless. That and the fact they were $600 made me shop around since I had to wait for the truck anyway. After shopping around and comparing my options, I went back to the dealer with magnet in hand to find out for myself if the 6" ovals were indeed stainless steel. They are!!! (I also got this confirmed later too). As for the price, yes, 3" round ones are a couple hundred dollars cheaper, but I ultimately decided on the 6" ovals. I think they are VERY nice and well worth the extra $$$. They are wider so they will protect the rocker area better and they are higher quality than most other oval or flat steps.

I had 3" round sstl ones on my 2000, and they were nice too, but IMO, these are much nicer.

There's my .02

I agree with VMax2007,I like the 6" oval tube steps,They seem to be selling better than the 3" round ones.

(I.E. Once I show customers both types they usually go with the 6" oval ones)

+1 for the 6-inch oval steps. I love 'em on my truck. They make a nice, wide platform for getting in and out. It really helps for when I take my dad somewhere (he's 79 and doesn't get around as well as he used to.) Protecting the truck from rocks is a big plus too as I spend a lot of time on gravel roads.

I like the 3" bars myself I thought they look cleaner and blend in better. I wouldn't have put them on but a shattered my knee a year ago so it helps me getting in and out of the truck and they function fine. And only $170 for stainless.
