Im looking for a tailgate cap for the 03 06 body style silverado's. Its the one that comes on the LT's not the smooth one but the one that has ridges on the top bolts to the tailgate itself. Evan a part number would be great.

You'll need to go buy the inserts and screws that go in the bottom of it from your dealer. If you have the smooth type of cap now there won't be anything but holes under it. The inserts twist in to the holes to allow the screws to be threaded in. You won't be able to re-use the old ones. They don't cost much... probably 10-12 bucks for them all.
