New Colors For 08

Has anyone seen the new dk cherry color for 08? Just wondering if it looks as bad in person as it does on Chevy's build it site.

Saw one on a carrier here at the dealership,I loved it...I thought it looked sharp!

As a matter of fact if that color was available in '07 I probably would have got it,But then again considering that I've had 9 trucks and all but two have been Black I kinda' like Black!!

Its kind of my trademark,everyone who knows me knows I have Black trucks!!

It's a fairly dark color, and on other models I've seen it on, it's very dark purple.

Really not bad in real-life, but as usual, not really represented by the terrible little GM image on their build sites.

Those are some excellent pictures caddycruiser!!! They show the color real well,I like the fact that in some angles the truck looks Black and in others it has a Dark Purple-lish/Dark Maroon color to it.

The more I look at it the more I wish mine was that color!!!

Yeah, a lot of times, without much light, it really does look black. Then you get a slight tinge of sun and see the purple/really dark burgundy come out.

With my black, in certain light it will take on a cloudy brown appearance, like it has too much red in it. With that new color I think it would look that way a lot more.

I like the way the wheels change from spoked alloy to chrome steel and back. Is that only available with this new color?

I have the same problem with my 07 black Sierra Denali. The dealer's paint shop said it was "Thin Paint". Area rep is deciding on repaint ($7985) or buy back. Might want to get it checked out. The rep told me that "MOST" of the black trucks painted in the Canadian plant are bad and are being warranted out.

Really? WOW. I actually have heard of and seen some new Denali SUV's, in black as well, that had paint issues, but those were from the Mexico, etc. SUV plants.

 

When a rep. actually says something like that a lot of models from the one plant in black are having issues, there really clearly must be a problem.

I don't know if it is bad paint or not, it's shiny... and only has one run in it.

Dark cherry red color is really nice. Compared to some ridiculous new colors out there, such as pea soup vomit color I saw on a new PT cruiser.

I saw this color on a 2500HD the other day at a dealership, I thought it looked really good.

I haven't seen one in person, but I like the color in the pictures.
