New to this site from WA, but am frequently on the SilveradoSS site. Lots of members here, Im hoping to gain lots of info from ya'll. I love GM (trucks) vehicles...Over the years Ive had two 70's, 95 Silverado, 97 Silverado, 00 Silverado, and my latest 05 Silverado SS (oh ya!)

new to this site...from nfld....was looking to get a GMC...but it got a lot of kms on it.....its got a 6 lit in it ..does it make a difference?

new to this site...from nfld....was looking to get a GMC...but it got a lot of kms on it.....its got a 6 lit in it ..does it make a difference?

I think your asking if the 6.0 liter makes a difference? Yes it does, from any of the trucks Ive had, except for one of the 70's had a BB 396 with cam. My SS has the LQ9 6.0L which stock is making 345hp/380tq with 4.10 gears and AWD. Getting a tune really made my SS come alive, went from 14.9et to 14.39et with tune, cai, catback exhaust.
