My 07 NBS has a shake back and fourth in the steering wheel.....not super bad but bad enough to notice when I let go of the wheel, I have new 265-65-18 tires (bridgestone gave me another pair because the others wore off like butter.) I had my alignment checked and everything what gives. the only thing I could think of is its because I have my wheels static balanced so my rims dont get scratched up from the weights on the outside. What should I do? Thanks

My guess is a slightly out of round tire/wheel combo. At slow speeds it doesn't take much at all to make the wheel oscillate. Not much else that can make the wheel move. You might not ever feel a vibration if it is balanced correctly.

at slow speeds it really wont shake....but at 55 and over you let go of the wheel and it will shake slightly back and forth. Grab ahold of the wheel again and its almost non existant.

i have 20 s and mine moves like you described when i let go but when you put yours hands back on the wheel you can t feel anything. No vibrations felt.

same here ....i keep my hands on the wheel and nn real vibrations...but let go and it goes back and forth above 55. Is this normal since its static balanced?

got an alignment and the tires are balanced...any idea....ive heard of frame beaming but what is that exactly and is there a fix. Besides putting weight in the bed.

Your complaint sounds like you need to do a Dynamic Balance. Use weights that have adhesive on them to avoid damaging the wheels.
