Mileage On Gm Trucks

i'm just curious to see how many miles people have gotten on their GM trucks.

lets see who has gotten the most!!

my dad has 260000 on his 94 chevy S10(4.3L Vortec V6) and its still runnin like its brand new....that should start us off here with a stat!

I've hit over 300,000 on a truck with no major mechanical failures. 250k on another, and my '92 was chugging along at 155k miles when I got rid of it (was going to need a tranny soon though).

I sold my 92 GMC to my daughter's friend. It had 260,000 when I sold it. The kid put another 15,000 but ran it out of oil! He would check it with the engine running!

 

I replaced the timing chain and gears, starter, water pump, alternator and power steering pump. The timing chain and gears along with the starter and water pump were preventive maintenance at 130,000 miles. The alternator went at 225,000 and the power steering started to leak at 270,000.

 

Too bad these d**n US cars are built like crap not like the jap ones that are soo good and reliable!
