Sticky Steering

I am new to this forum so my question may have been answered somewhere that I am unable to find right now. I have a 97 Yukon and when going through a gradual corner on the highway, there is a spot in the steering where the the steering grabs and then releases when putting in more steering input. This problem is evident when turning either way and does not show up during regular city driving. As it stands now, I am unable to diagnose where this is coming from.

Thanks for your help.
