Heh I found this part number with no picture while looking for something else for my truck. So I punched up the part number on google and got a pic.

 

Anyone else seen anything so hideous? How about anyone seen anyone with it in person? Kinda freaky.

 

Lucky for me it won't fit a Z71 so nobody can ninja stick it on my truck lol.

I did see one in person, day before yesterday. Looks worse in person, IMHO. It looks like the bar that goes around the headlights is twice as big as the houseing. Kinda defeats the purpose of having a brush guard!

The one available for the 800 series is almost as bad. They must have used that one as a template to design this one. Fortunately, there is a lot of aftermarket grill guard/brush guards available. I wonder how many of these plasticky guards GM actually sells? They are not cheap at all.

Funny you should mention that...The one i saw was being driven by what looked to be a late 30's early 40's blonde that looked the part of a stereotypical soccer mom, LOL.
