95 454 Tbi Idle Issue

I have a 1995 454 TBI motor that only wants to idle or run under normal driving when the vacuum line to the M.A.P. sensor is disconnected and pluged. When I connect it back up while the engine is running, it stalls and is hard to restart without pedeling.

All sensors have been replaced and the ECM has been switched out for comparison.

 

Does anyone have an idea as to what is going on?

well i own a 1992 454ss truck and my truck will not run either. your problem sounds like a vacume leak, but thats weird that it will run with those lines unplugged did you try tapping the tbi unit to see if their was any trask in there. maybe take one of those lines completely off and blow through the lines. there could be a stoppage in the lines. like i said that is weird. look at my problem posted with fuel injector problems and see what you think.
