I'll have to hand it to the Dodge boys. They made a goood looking truck. But i am reluctant to buy anymore dodges after my experiences. I had two befor i got my Chevy and both had to have the tranny rebuilt after @ 110000 miles....and for the fact that I love my Chevy!!! Wouldn't give anything for it.

The interior is definitely a step up, but that must be saying alot about how poor the previous models were. This one could still use some work. It looks better, but it still looks like bargin basement materials.

Sorry Dodge, but nothing beats the look of the 1994-2001 Ram. I actually almost wound up with my dad's 1998 Dodge Ram before I got my '00 Monte Carlo. The Monte basically made me a Chevy fan for life and is why I bought my Silvy when it was time to trade the car in...so I might have wound up being a Dodge guy *shudder* All kidding aside though, my dad's '98 was a great truck.

I've got a 95 Ram 4x4 with a 5.2 in it. It's got a little over 160K on it and still gets like 18 mpg on the highway. 94-01 Ram's a good truck. Doesn't have half as much power as my big block, but it has never let me down unless i didn't take care of it (didn't replace the fuel pump when i should've). The newer dodges look like crap i think at least the stock height 1500s. As a matter fact most stock height IFSs look like crap. Once it's lifted they all look good. I think the new power in the hemi is dodges answer to the Tundras 5.7. I think 01-02 Silverado 2500HDs and any lifted Ram look the best. But that's just my opinion......... Just wait till they put the small diesels in the 1/2 ton trucks it's gonna be awesome. I think Fords coming out in mid 2009.
