Wow - that's going to need some work. Does it still run? - looks like it's been sitting for a while. what are your plans? Resto? or Hot Rod?

I have a 73 that I'm about to start on myself. I say keep that tailgate its classic, unless you are going for the hot-rod. Hope to see more pics soon

Looks just like a 73...... the tailgate is 100% wrong though and is from a 67-72 Chev truck. Yeah..... 2 years, no pics or updates.....

 

According to other 2 threads he did get it running and drove it a bit. Who knows.......

Hi thanks for posting the wonderful pics of this rare vehicle. I remember in 2000 my father was also have the same truck but in 2002 the truck was giving many maintenance problem so we sold it.

Thtas not an '83... more likely a '73 b/c of the front side marker lights. They ran vertical on the '73 to I think '80, but changed to horizontal on '82 and up for sure. the 73-80 had different fenders, hoods and trim too.
