06 1500hd Warranty Question?

I am getting ready to purchase an 05 or 06 1500HD Crew Cab 4x4 with around 20k miles on it and wondered what if any factory warranty might still apply? I had seen at one point where GM was offerring some type of 100k warranty, but did not know if that applied to a second owner, etc..

 

Any advice/info would be great.

I think that applies only on GM certified buys. Dunno, the dealer should be able to tell you.

My 06 1500HD was certified used and purchased at a Gm dealer and it has the same warranty as they offered for new vehicles in 2007. I got the balance of the bumper to bumper and the 100k powertrain package. As far as i know they did not go back to 05 for that deal just 06 and newer certified vehicles. On another note I saw one of the posters say that only the 2500 HD has the 4l80e tranny. I had M.Cueva run my VIN and according to the build sheet my truck has the 4l80e tranny if that helps you any.
