I would get a flatbed and haul to the scap yard. I know around eastern MD they are paying almost $7 per 100lbs

I second that. My friend just scrapped a 83 c10, and got $350 for it. He paid $300 for it, beat the crap out of it, and hauled it to the scrapyard.

Metals are up in price big time. Silver Gold, Aluminum, Copper especially. Steel (even scrap) is way up too.

I wonder how easy it would be to have someones car junked :chevy:

My neighbor has a Saturn C2 sitting in the street that hasn't moved in months..Real eye sore.

You probably couldn't get much for the Saturn, isn't the body fiberglass or something?

haha I dunno, it isn't the money I want. It's the whole "car not being parked in front of my driveway" thing that I'm looking for. Hell I'd pay them to haul it off.

If you have the title, you can bring it to a scrapyard for recycling. If not, you have to cut the car up.

OR you can call any local junkyard and have them pick it up. They will usually pay you $50 to $100 depending on the car, whether you have the title or not.

Here in MD you can haul in any car title or not, The only catch is they photocopy your drivers license, make a folder of you and write the cars vin into that folder. Once a month the state police come thru and run all the vins that didn't have titles. If it is stolen you are screwed...if not you are clear.

I have alittle form I made up for when I pick cars up from people. I write all of the info from the license on it and the cars vin and location. I figured maybe it will cover my a$$, maybe not.
