Hello all...

I just placed an order for an 08 Silverado LT crew cab...Blue Granite. The dealer is doing a locate, but chances are it'll have to be ordered because the only options I wanted were the G80, towing package, and aluminum rims.

I've already learned a bunch just reading here...enough to make me reconsider my ebony interior, at any rate

I don't see too many of the NSBs with hood deflectors...I was thinking about the GM chrome one, but don't want to order unless I see it on a truck. Any pictures?

Not a heck of a lot of snow in Niagara...some cold weather, but the snow we've gotten is laughable. I was in Pickering on the weekend and they have WAY more snow than we have here. So far winter's been a joke here (other than the cold). I'd rather have the snow, to be honest.

Well, the dealer located my exact truck, all the options I wanted (and no more) in the colour I wanted. SO, I picked up the pickup tonight. I bought from a dealer almost 2 hours away (the deal was worth the drive), so I got to drive it a few hours and all I can say is, what a beautiful driving truck. My 2004 Dodge Ram QC didn't even compare, and this truck even rides nicer than my 05 Magnum RT that I traded in for it. I don't know what Dodge is doing wrong, but this truck is impressive.

And the colour; blue granite is the bomb. I've already had a few compliments on the colour...it looks perfect on this truck. Unique, but not gaudy. Very well done by GM.
