Blower, A/c And Radio

This problem relates to a 1995 SL 2500 truck. The heater blower will work only once on high when you turn on the ignition. If you either turn the blower switch to a lower speed it stops all together and will not resume to high if the switch is turned back to high. This same sinario exists if (instead of turning the switch down to a slower speed) you turn off the ignition and then back on the blower stops and will not operate at any speeds(if the vehicle sits undisturbed for a day or two I am usually able to repeat the problem). The AC does not operate either. One other strange thing is if you set the presets and time on the radio it will only hold the presets/time for a few minutes. Once you turn one the ignition (after a few minutes) all presets are gone and the time has returned back to 12:00. Battery is fine and there seems to be no other issues(all battery connections are clean and tight). Could these problems be related? If you use any other electrical options etc. they all work fine. No error messages are displayed.

Anyone have a possible solution? :D

Blower motor resistor? Hopefully someone else will chime in soon.

In the fusebox on the side of your dash, check the #19 fuse, it should be a 10-amp fuse labeled RADIO BATT.

I kind of thought either the resister (or relay) as well but do you think a problem in the ignition swithch itself could be causing both problems? I will check out the 10 amp fuse with an ohm meter and see what happens. I assume the resister in very close to the blower as well (as the relay).

Thanx for the reply... :D
