Driverside Power Window Quit

Anyone know what the problem is and how much to fix?

 

Its a 2001 Silverado.

 

Switch still lights up just window won't go up or down.

Sounds like its the power window regulator in your door. Had one go out on me. Gettin it done at the dealer may run ya a few hundred, tryin it yourself you could prolly do it for 100 or less.

You can test the switch real quick and easy. Pop it out and stick the volt meter probes in alongside the wires then move the switch up and down. I'm guessing you will see normal movement on the volt meter. I replaced the motor in my 01 Grand Am. It was doing the same thing, lighting up and making the clicking noise, bit not moving the window. Less then $100 from Advanced Auto and about 45 minutes.

Yes it is in the door, but as wvurhino suggested you may want to check your swith first just to be sure so you dont buy parts you dont need
