My First House

Well, I know it's been a week or so since I had some pics of the house. These were taken today by my builder and I can't believe how fast his crew is. He still says it will be done by July 31st and I can't wait to get out of this apartment and have my own garage.

 

The lake by the house is looking ripe for big ole bass so I know I will be there in a couple of months.

Sorry the pic is small. It is my first time using PhotoBucket because my other hosting site is down for maintenance.

I second that motion. We are going to be BADAZZ this year. I watched the Orange and Blue game and DAMN Chris Rainey is fast. I can't wait to see Demps as well. I work with a bunch of BullDAWG fans and all of them are talking $hit now. We'll see!

I'm on my first house...Closed on it on my 30th birthday.

 

I'd have bought one sooner, but moving around so much (military) kind of made it hard...So I bought one as soon as I got out.

Heck yes we are and our economy! Now I need to buy another Chevy truck. Congrats on the new house!!! It will be nice once the builder gets all the kinks worked out!!! I bet your warranty will beat the crap out of the homeowner warranty that I got with my contract which is only good for a year!

I hate to say it, and I am going to shoot myself in the foot, but I am scared about Georgia this year, Moreno is just crazy. I am also nervous that Harvin won't be near as fast as he has been, but at least he will be playing the right position with Rainey in the back field and Emmanuel Moody sharing the position.

That's the reason this is my first house too. I was scared to buy because I knew as soon as I did, I would get an assignment and lose out on any equity or be forced to pay rent and a mortage until I sold it.The Air Force had a funny way of sending folks on an overseas tour as soon as they bought a house and I said, "Not me, I am not getting stuck with a house." Thanks goodness for base housing but now that I am retired I can say I finally OWN a house.

I don't think I am that worried about Georgia. They have a season like we did last year AND they get no week off before they play us. Their road game is brutal and everyone knows how Moreno is so their defenses will be gunning for him. Rainey on the other hand played last year but not as much so defenses will be looking at Tebow again to run but they aren't ready for our double-barrel shotgun (Rainey and Harvin). Just think Harvin waa plagued all last year with that heel and still was a beast on the field. I think this surgery was the right thing and he will be ready for the Fall. I hope Moody will come through for us this year. He looked OK during the Spring game but fumbled the ball in the endzone on his first score attempt. He did look strong but a little confused with the offense. I think Dan Mullen will find Moddy's niche and he will be there to keep Tebow from becoming a one-man wrecking machine again this year. I think we would have won over Georgia if he wouldn't have been hurt.

My house was built in 49 days. Still standing 1o years later. The builder has clout with his subs and demands that they be available on HIS schedule. When we settled, they had never missed a settlement date; we agreed on a settlement date at the time the agreement was signed.

 

I have no doubt tht your builder can keep his promise!
