Opinions Wanted.......

Trying to decide between buying the factory flares or getting some Bushwacker extend-a-flares for a little extra tire coverage. Has anyone bought the Bushwackers? How do they fit etc....

 

Also I want to do something with my grill just not sure what. I thought I wanted a billet insert and chrome shell, then I thought about painting the shell. So I welcome all suggestions.

Go with the factory flares. I think they would look good on the truck. As far as a grill, I would probably go with the factory chrome grill but that's my opinion.

Yeah a factory chrome grill will do wonders on that truck. I hate the WT grills, but love the WT prices

Also paint the lower bumper red. My dads Sierra 2500 has the chrome grill and painted bumper from factory and it looks good.

For a long time I didnt like the WT grille either, but its growing on me which I guess is part of where the idea to paint it came from. I was trying to come up with an idea to keep the WT grille and just do some kind of insert. I do like chrome also.

You definitely need more chrome to go with the wheels. They look a little out of place as it sits.

Bushwacker only makes one style for the 07-08 GMC NBS and that’s the “Bolt on Look” they make the “Extend-A-Flares” for the Silverado but not the Sierra

 

 

EGR makes a nice set called the “Rugged Look” that is a little cheaper then the Bushwackers (Just ordered mine a couple days ago) part #751514

 

 

OEM/Factory are the best to work with and look good, I put a set on my 04 Sierra and they looked great I’m just trying to give my new one a little different look this time

for the grill i'd say paint the existing grey frame to match the red color, and get a chrome billet insert to replace the GMC in the opening... it would look clean 4 sure.... my 2cents
