Nbs Driver Window Noise When Wet Or Raining Out.

when it is wet or raining out, or after a car wash, my drivers side window makes a terrible noise when opereated up or down. any clues what to look for here? was going to head to the dealer next week since it is supposed to rain here all week but did not want to hear this is normal. anyone?

It's not normal, mine is completely quiet.

water is getting into the rear track - my sierra did this and they took a water hose and it took about 10 minutes of spraying before the tech found it

I used to have the same problem until today. I took my truck for 9000 miles service, and let know about this problem. They fixed it by replacing the rubber in the window. They told me that GM has a service bulletin for this.

I did not know there is a bulletin. I took my door panel off and lubed the moving parts, and looked at the wiring and stuff for speakers and mirrors. It solved the problem without a dealer visit. (Stressful fo "little" things)

same with my GMT 800. it 'ran out of grease'...
