NEVER in the history of the C/K line did chevy ever make a c1500 4x4!   they used "C" to represent the 2wd versions and "K" to represent 4wd versions, so the is no C1500 4x4

Ah, I see now.  I was wondering the same thing cause it was equiped just like my '91, except for the 4WD.  I didn't even notice the C-1500 designation.  That happens quite often.  I see lots of newspaper ads like that.

Yep, that sure is a rare pickup.  To bad about every dealer in this area does the same thing.  I see it all the time, most people just don't have any clue what the C/K designations mean.

I didn't know it myself, until fairly recently.

I used to think  C meant Light duty and K meant heavy duty.

Silly me..... :sigh:

I picked that right out, trouble is that isn't the first time I've come across it.  In my search of trucks one has too look for both the C and K designations because what you are looking for is likely to be listed in either one.

This is very very sorry though.  A guy from the wrong side was able to pick out the mistake much faster than you GM guys, SHAME on you!!!!  Let this never happen again.  We will never speak of this disgrace again.   ;)

I picked that out right away too!  Too bad AutoTrader doesn't have someone to proof ads.

For instance about 3 weeks ago I was looking at Taurus SHO's (Yes a ford!), we all know that they came with a 3.0L DOHC V6 and some later models also had a 3.2L DOHC V6 as an option.  One listing in Autotrader had a SHO listed as a turbo 4 cyl!  WTF???
