It is in my truck and I am doing the security relern right now, I can't wait. I hope this is the best thing I ever did! Done! and Stuff!

Excellent......lets us know how it goes.....also what tune did you get?(milage, performance, etc)......what did it cost......and anything else you can let us know.

ok ok ok here it is I did the crank relear, etc. super easiest thing to do, less thn 10 seconds amazing. and I ran it up and down the highway outside my house for about 15 minutes for the new file to send back to Justin. WOW is all I have to say. The shift points are tons better. I think I have a balanced tune for better mpg and some performance, so I will wait on Justin to reply to my last email I sent him to explain it better.

 

Anyway, I used the DIC's mpg calculator and at 70 mph I was getting about 17.5-18mpg in my truck, which is awesome! (I have a crew cab 4x4) I had put on new tires and wheels (20"x10" wheels w/ 305/50/20 A/T tires) a month ago and my interstate driving mpg at 70 was about at 15-16 mpg, so I have at least a 1-1.5 mpg increase minimum. I also noticed how much better the engine cruises at highway speed and it seems the RPM's are less at 70 than before.

More testing on its way.

I was wondering how long it is taking to receive the cable. How long did you have to wait before getting it?

 

From Justin's location in Virginia (close to D.C. I think) to my home in Tallahassee, FL it took two days for the cable, and two days for the PCM. SO both were two days.

I think I asked the wrong question. I have read on the boards that there is a long waiting list on Blackbear. How long did you have to wait from first signing up before you received the equipment?

Oh, it was sent within 48 hours of my payment. Hardly any wait at all. No wait list that I know of. I know he is busy, but somehow he manages to answer all your questions and get the equipment out. Great service.

Yeah, Justin at Black Bear has really good customer service. The first time I emailed him for a tune he replied the same day and whenever I email for my tune he responds almost instantly. He has really good customer service and really good tuning skills.

i think since i get 3 paychecks in Aug. im gonna have to meet up for a live tune from him for sure. no more BSing around about it lol...

+1 on Justin`s customer service. I have had my tune for about 2 months now and could not be happier. I give Justin my highest recommendations.

      I found an odor eliminator spray that neutralizes unwanted smells pretty well. Using it with the car's AC running helps to distribute it evenly around the cabin.

      He does, actually. In another unrelated video he mentions the president called him in the middle of the night to relay some information on a cause (religious based) that he's invested in. Glenn expressed concern that another leftist administration could wield too much power with some procedure the Pentagon was using, classifying certain religions a certain way. Being that he is LDS (Latter Day Saints), he gets hate all the time from ALL over the political spectrum, so he's invested in this. Trump called him back at 5AM to tell him he had made some changes to that classification.   So, yes, they are and have been in contact regularly since the start of the administration. Glenn, of course, always asks his permission before discussing anything on the air.   I already spent an hour or more just searching for these videos. I may have my numbers wrong - I'm not a numbers guy. It may have been a MILLION barrels, not 1.5. The point is, our President, by his actions, gives a crap about America, and US - this is completely OPPOSITE the actions of the prior administration who projected hatred for anyone who wasn't following the left's edicts in lock-step.   Remember, they called January 6th an "Insurrection", when there were ZERO weapons among the crowd, undercover FBI agents agitating the crowd, along with paid leftists acting as aggressors, egging the crowd on in an attempt to whip everyone into a frenzy. It's all been proven.  Pelosi refused Trumps request for more National Guard troops. This smells 100% like an inside job for those with critical thinking skills. Only a handful of guys in the crowd got wrapped up in that, thankfully, but EVERYONE was searched out based on cell phone data, and charges were brought against many. And 6 or so people were locked up and left in solitary confinement for YEARS with ZERO due process!! If you give the slightest crap about our Nation, REGARDLESS of your political leanings, this should frighten you to your core. This is what men suffered, bled, fought, and died against 250 years ago!   This has gone FAR BEYOND left vs. right. This is a  threat to America, and our way of life. This is PRECISELY why Trump, a BILLIONAIRE who could have chosen to take Melania and sit on some tropical island that he could afford to buy himself and RELAX, instead chose to run for office, get hate from literally every corner of the media, get ATTEMPTS on his LIFE constantly, and begin to repair some of the severe damage that's been done to this Great Nation.   I don't know why I bother wasting my precious time here. Everyone has their minds made up. They won't realize we all were correct until it's too late ... after they elect another tyrant that hates America to office (Obama), or another puppet whose administration is secretly running the show behind the scenes (Biden).
