I thought of General when I saw that too.  Got to say that Kid Rock is as close as I get to rap, I'll listen to him from time to time.  Nothing like driving around in a farm truck with that stuff blaring out the windows.

 

But as for the rest of the show, it is a prime example of how crappy our music is today and why I listen to country, you can at least understand them when they talk or sing.

Only one song won there that I like. B&D's "Way you move" or whatever it's called.

 

The only good rock group there was Linkin Park and they didn't even win, they lost to the posers, Limp Bizkit (Note: the poser phrase is really meant for Fred Durst, not the other members of the band).

Yeah that was a load of BS if you ask me.  I can't stand Limp Bizkit.  Oh well.

 

And Jp is right on is saying that Brooks and Dunn are awesome.  I'd really like to see them in concert some time.

back in the day i couldnt stand brooks and dunn.  Until i heard somethinb out you.  SO i bought the steers and stripes cd.  dang thats a good cd.  Now i am a fan of theirs.  Parents seen em in concert last yr and said they were awesome.
