2008 Silverado: I Gone And Done It !

Well I pulled the trigger on a new 2008 Silverado Texas Edition extended cab, STD box 2WD. I love this thing. I was seriously considering ordering a 2009, but with the deals Chevy is offering, I jumped on this truck and could not be happier. I got it for $8,500 under MSRP. After searching online and finding "The One", I traded a few emails with the Inventory Manager at Robbins Chevrolet in Humble, TX (I know him through a friend on the Corvette Forum) and I took it home that night. It had 2 miles on it.

TX Edition (incl 20 inch wheels)

Thanks for the tip - you read my mind ! I noticed the first time I washed it - that I was going to have to do something with those rear wheel wells.

 

I was thinking of removing the rear wheels, masking everything off, and spraying that part with Krylon spray in bed liner. Of course, the DIY spray can stuff really is ghetto for an actual bed liner, but it's good stuff for wheel wells and refinishing car trunks.

 

Where can I find the wheel well liners, and how muck $ ? Do they fit snug and look OEM?
