Well,

I joined the Chevy crowd again. I started my driving life with a 1949 Chevy 3600 in 1985, and have owned various chevy's over the years. I sold the 49' to buy a wedding ring for a girl friend. Found out the bitch was dating the truck. Couldn't get the truck back and have regretted that move all my life. in 95' I bought a ford, I know I regressed but the ole F150 served me well. I live in Texas, and am fortunate to have not one but two family members in the used car business. I have an 8 year old son and a wife of 16 years.

 

This is the frist truck I've bought used in 13 years. Its a 2007 Z71 LTZ crew cab Silverado. I absolutely love the truck. It is currently riding on 20" wheels off of a 2008. I plan to add a leveling kit and some larger tires soon, along with a AMI locking fuel door... With gas as High as it is I lost half a tank the other night to a siphoner... Only problems that I have with the truck are around the driver side doors. The really jump around and rattle on rough roads. I'm carrying it in soon to see if anything can be done. I suspect there has been body work in the area, several of the door hinge bolts are minus paint and were loose.. I've tightened them but as of yet I have not resolved the issue.post-54429-1222047007_thumb.jpg

 

A little about my screen name, I'm known for being hard headed.... and sometimes not too smart... thus gristlehead kind of fits...

Ok, I'm having trouble inserting a picture. On other sites I've had no problem linking in a photo hosted and photobucket.com. Where do you guys host your pictures and link them into your signature? When I copy in the img link all I see is the red x...

Are you pasting the code in the 'insert image' button? If so, that's your problem. :cheers:

 

You can post the code directly into the reply box and it'll show up as a picture in your post.

 

And I use Photobucket.
