Clayed And Waxed Twice!

Jebus I'm beat. Pic's tomorrow. Started out this morning picking up sticks and mowing the yard...At 10:30 I started washing and claying the truck. I used the meguires clay system. At first I didn't think I was pulling off very much, until I got to the hood. Dang I couldn't believe how rough the hood was.... After claying the truck I put on a layer of Meguires Cleaner Wax. After that I went to the meguires Gold in the black can.... Dangit! Before I finished I got happy with the air dam... That puppy is now stuffed in the rafters of the garage..I think it makes the truck look "right" without it.

I just finished my truck also. Man this truck is huge. I washed, clayed, pre-wax cleaner, polish, and mequirs NXT wax. Then did a spray down of quick detailer to make it shine some more!!!! 6 hours and I am so tired right now!!!

Looking forward to doing mine here soon. Today though I was giddy with the 38 degree weather outside, raining, fog, sleet, it was WONDERFUL! I hate sunny days!

OK, now can you tell which photo's utilized a circular polarizer? Hint, the ones in which there is no or little reflection in the paint. Ohhh and I'm still drinkin from last night. Nothing like the best from Shiner. Shiner Black label with a black truck.

Just looking at the pictures makes me wonder if i should get the toe hook chromed... What do you guys think?

truck looks good. And yes get the chrome hooks. It will look good.

As much as I don't like adding a lot of chrome, the chrome tow hooks would add a nice contrast.
