Few Things Wrong

I took my truck in for a oil change and stuff today. They reported back to me the following

I need a new belt and tensioner the mechanic said this would be something to look into in the next month or so since it is pretty loose.

He also said I had a wet intake wet oil cooler lines and a leaking front axle seal.

I am wondering how much I should expect to pay for the intake and oil cooler lines. I have heard that the intake mainfold is a common thing on the 5.7. Also the left front axle seal what should I expect for that if I had the dealer do it.

i just did the left front axle seal on my truck.. i thought it was just a seal too but push up on your CV shaft right where its bolted to the diff... if it moves up then its also a bearing..

The Bearing was $20 and the seal was $20 from the dealer.

i was quoted $60 to have somebody else do it but since i dont have a ton of money i just took the bolts off the cv shafts on both sides and took the 4 bolts holding the front diff out and was pretty easy.. i would do it again if i had to..

i can also comment on the tensioner... i bought a new one for my truck as well just a couple months ago.. its from a parts store and is actually a different design than OE but its a TON better.. very easy to change its just one 13MM bolt holding it on..

shouldnt take longer than 10 min to change..

I would get clarification on what he meant by wet intake. Did he mean there was coolant leaking, or were the injectors leaking fuel. I had leaky injectors when I had to replace the upper intake manifold. I needed to replace the whole fuel injection assembly as it was looking the worse for wear. The benefit was I got updated non-poppet valved injectors. The injector assembly cost me about $500 up here in Canada, but it may be possible to find it cheaper elsewhere.

I can't really comment on the oil lines, no experience there, but I wouldn't think they'd be too expensive.
