D@mn that's bright! Is that with Highs on too? What does it look like with the lights-on from your bullbar?

Looks good.

Oh I miss the hid's from when I had my YukonXL.

Regarding DRL, are your low's on full-time now? Or did you disconnect the DRL ? I've been wanting to put HID's in my 2007, but the low beams are on all the time.

That looks ridiculously bright. I'm a big proponent of having lots of light because of my job, but I'm worried that not only will I be blinding oncoming traffic but that John Q. Law will have something to say about it. Can HIDs be installed with benefit and be adjusted sufficiently so as NOT to cause a problem?

I've had the Xetronic Digital HID's installed on my low beams for a year now, they are great. If I got them for my fogs I would have to adjust those up because the foglights don't even provide usable

light at the stock setting.

BUT I just got in my black ANZO projector headlights today, I will be posting pics of those after I install them...with HID's of course.

BTW your truck looks awesome!

No I pulled the 2 fuses for the DRL's. Its ok in the city but on the highway I just turn on my parklights and use them as drl's.

Looks good but, out of curiosity why did you go with 2 different Temperatures?

I figured someone would ask that question. With the foglights upgraded to 9005 bulbs I find they are extremely bright and thats a good thing but I tend to get flashed with fogs on. So I went to a 8000k bulb so that they wouldnt be as bright as the lows so when I come up behind people they wouldnt get too pissed off at my lights being bright. I found the 6000k blue first but now I have the 8000k in, the 6000k's look white.

looks good. can i ask where you got them?

I bought them at a local store here in Calgary. Speedtech racing developments is the name of the place I bought them. They sell them for $250 CAD.

You know I have got flashed more with regular bulbs than I did with the HIDs. Its all on how high you set them. When I had them installed I found they were 2 high so I lowered them and they seem to be great now and they dont blind people when I comeup behind them.

No that is just lowbeams and fogs on. You dont even need highs anymore. I am changing the PIAAs over to the yellow plasma ion ones now. Better in severe weather conditions since they are yellow. The ones I have now are driving lights and i dont notice much difference with the HID's

The DRL's have separate fuses and amperages than the Low/HI beams. I just pulled my two DRL fuses out so they don't come on anymore. There are no check engine lights or anything, and it doesn't prematurely wear out your HID's.
