Scratch Chevy Blue Metallic And Chrome

I already noticed a small scratch on the hood of my dark blue metallic Silverado and a couple on the chrome bumber. Any recommendations on removing scratches from the paint and chrome?

not to sound like a jackass, but let your insurance company take care of it, or have a body shop redo it. Some jackass decided to scratch my bumper with his hitch, I tried to fix it and ended up letting the insurance deal with it. They really didnt say anything about my botched repair job, they just gave me a new bumper and painted it to match the rest of the truck. I gotta say, whoever they used as a body shop did a better paint job than what came from the factory....

For the paint, try 3M Perfect-It Swirl Mark Remover. Use as though it was wax with a soft towel, or cotton diaper. Have taken many scratches off my truck with that... most from branches that got the roofline, and a stray shopping cart ( )
