Okay die-hard deal-finders, what's your story this morning?...

I woke up @ 6am, grabbed a coffee @ KumNGo, and headed to Best Buy.

When I bought my Plasma 2 years ago, I had to wait in line 1 hour to talk to a sales rep (so he could pricematch a TV for me :uhoh: ) then it took another 2 hours to wait in line to checkout.

This year I didn't have many big things on my list. I got a Garmin Nuvi 205 GPS for my Dad & a Linksys WRT110 Wireless Router for my Mom. Got into Best Buy, got everything & checked out in less than 10 minutes! There were no lines at all.

There were also some good deals on Philips LED C9 XMas lights @ Target ($9/box this year compared to $20/box last year) - it's amazing how much cheaper LED's are this year. Unfortunately I had to go to 3 Target to get 6 out of the 10 boxes I needed, but still have to find those last 4 boxes somewhere. Grrr.

How'd everybody else do?

Woke up at 6am. 7am went to sears.com and ordered my wife an xmas gift (radar detector it was $30 off). it said $49+ free shipping so I looked and found the new DDR X (PS2 game) and it was the same price as bestbuy so instead of going there I threw it in the cart and got free shipping. At 8am I had to go to the hardware store for some things to finish my floor (Menards) walked in lines everywhere. I walked out went to lowes and got everything I needed (qtr round, concrete anchors). I did get an LED mag light for 50% off ($14).

All in all uneventful this past week was my big shopping, bought 2 Ipod Touch (1 for me and 1 for my wife)

I wanted some of those cheap 19" LCD tv's from Wal-Mart.

I was going to go early, but decided to chance it and slept in.

So I headed to town a little after 8:00 am.

No crowds at all, just a little busy in electronics, but that was all.

I picked up three of those 19" LCD tv's ( they were only $178.00 ea )

and some other things. No line to at all to check out.

I asked the cashier where the crowds were, and she said they were all there at 5:00 am!

She said they stormed the store when it opened, and the place was full!

They sold 20 of the Polaroid 42" Plasma TV's in 5 minutes!

I typically never venture out on Black Friday, but there was an awesome deal on a laptop at Best Buy, too bad they were all gone when I got there at 10:00am. :uhoh: Oh well.

Are any of the black Friday deals available online?

They are/were available online during the same timeframe as in the store.

Many of the big ticket items ended at 11:00 am.

But you could check and see.

Stayed at my best friends last night whose home from Ft Benning on Thanksgiving leave, we began consuming beer. Got on the computer @ 9:30~ and snatched a 4L80 on Ebay for $300. Immediately afterwards I continued to celebrate victory and together we drank many a Bud Light and Sam Adams Boston Lager. Today we are going to BW3's to eat many wings and drink beer, and afterwards shooting the AR15 & AK47. Outside of everything above I had a horrible Thanksgiving and I didn't do any shopping this morning.

The whole fam damily went as usual. My wife buys for a non profit Toys for Kids drive, and to strech their dollars she buys toys and kids stuff when it is cheap. As for me we got to Wally world at 4:45 and I checked out with my items from the family list at 5:07. The wife got out about 7:30, filled here Exployer up with her loot and we had it unloaded by 8:00 :uhoh:
