08 Denali Radio In An 06

I recently picked up a 2006 GMC Yukon Denali. I am interested in installing an 08 radio (similar to the one in the link below, part number 25846421) in order to get several options suck as backup camera, aux input, MP3 CD capability, and forward DVD.

Has anyone attempted this install before? Does anyone know if it is even possible?

  Excuse my stupidity, I have a 2016 High Country with 6.5’ bed. I want to pick up 1/2 CD wood which might be 1000-1500lb. Can the truck handle that?
