I bought C9 LED's for the house this year, my wife's late grandfather made the "Happy Holidays" sign, & we got the reindeer on clearance last year at Lowe's.

My wife makes the whole frikkin house look like a Christmas display. I am still finding shit that was replaced. Wild horses couldn't drag me up a ladder to put lights on my house.

All we do here is put those lame little fake candles in the windows, and a wreath with a spotlight on the front door. I offered to put up some real lights, but apparently my Mom doesn't trust me on the roof.

 

The truck does get a wreath though.

Every time we drive by a nativity scene I'll yell out one of two things...Either "JESUS CHRIST!" or "JESUS, MARY, AND JOSEPH!" while pointing. Passengers ALWAYS fall for it...They're all "what?" as they look around for something really surprising, and say "nothing...There's, Jesus, Mary, and Joseph right there".

 

Same thing when I see a truck full of hay drive by. I'll holler "HAY!" and point.

My wife turns our house into, well, let me just say that she has more crap around here than a damn novelty/gift shop. She has been after me to do the eaves of the house for ever. I just won't do it. I like Christmas, but, I could care less if my house is decorated or not. She does the front porch, and the entire inside of the house right down to the frickin' bathroom's. She does a lot of hard work doing it, and it all look's good when it's done, but damn, my house is tore up for a week. HO! HO! HO!
