Drip From Muffler

Ouch ... more things to go wrong. Normally you get the water drip from the tailpipe while she's running, but I've got two of them. It's also dripping from the muffler, from the folded edge of it. Does this require a replacement? Or can you seal it up and call it good?

They make a compound that patches mufflers that should work for you. Hell we had a hole that was at least 3"x3" on our Kawasaki Mule and we used that to patch it up and its held up for months now...

Don't seal up that muffler drip!

They are designed with a weep hole at the bottom that allows condensed water to drain. Otherwise, they rust out in no time.

There is a weep hole in the muffler to allow moisture to drain. If you plug it the muffler will rust out sooner from the trapped moisture.

Hahah :D Yep, on stock mufflers there is a moisture buildup that need to drain out. Straight thru mufflers won't have it of course.
