Hi all,

 

After a whole lot of truck research and pricing, I decided to go Silverado.

 

I am waiting to take possession of a 2004 Silverado 1500 LS, reg cab, 5.3, 2wd w/ locking diff. A dealer found it for me on the GM auction site. He was hoping to have gotten it from Conn. by this afternoon . . . but I doubt it with all the storms we've had.

 

Both my car and truck were getting pretty long in the tooth, and I want to do some serious travel with my horse this summer, so I decided it was time to get a decent truck. (The alternator fire in my F-150 was the last straw.)

 

I am glad to find a truck community that is more interested in answering questions than telling you how lame you or your truck is.
