2-3" body lift

I have a 2001 Silverado 1500 ext. cab...was considering a 2-3" body lift. Wondered if anybody had any pics of theirs so i could see what if would look like. And was wondering if it changed anything on their truck (i.e ride, handling) to the worse?

Yeah, welcome to the forum. As far as I know, no one makes a 2 inch body lift for the new body style trucks, only 3 inch. The only ones that I know of for the 3 inch kits are Performance Accessories and Trailmaster. I don't have one on my truck, but I'm hoping to by the end of summer.

how did you keep your tow hooks with a 3" lift and not have to cut anything?? the main reason i haven't gotten a lift is b/c i don't want to loose my hooks or have a cut up air damn to make them fit. please let me know and by the way your truck looks great.

FYI, I've been shopping and just wanted to let you know www.4wheelparts.com sells the 3" Performance Accessories kit for $279.95 while www.central4WD.com sells the exact same kit for $225.00 and only charge $15.00 s&h. JC Whitney also has the lift for $225.00 but I don't know what they charge for s&h.

Shop around and save some money!

tigerfan i did have to cut my lower valance a little to keep the tow hooks, but it dosent look at all out of place to me.

JC Whitney also has the lift for $225.00 but I don't know what they charge for s&h.

The newest catalog I got from them the other day had a 15% off coupon for purchaces over $200.00 or more. S&H was from $16.75 to $22.35, depending on where it's shipped to.

Unless I can find a better deal somewhere else, I think I'm going to get mine from there, when I get it.
