KODIAK STEPS?

The other day I was out of town and ran across a lifted (cough) FORD (cough) truck and instead of nerf bars/running boards/hoops, the truck had these small platform steps maybe 10" across by 6" deep. It looked like they were attached to the rocker panels but not sure due to the fact it was night-time and couldn't see well. I did catch the name on them and they were made by KODIAC. Anyone have any info on these? I'm not a big nerf bar fan and since my truck is going to be getting a suspension lift, the running boards gotta go!  Thanks!--------Tom

Yep, they are pretty neat.  They tuck up close to the truck when the door is closed, and when you open the door, they swing down.  They are run off of a little electric motor and have some contacts that are installed in the door jam to activate them.

I have Kodiak's and they are great!  I haven't had a single problem with them and they are very sturdy...  I bought them from 4WP in December, but now they are $20 more each...
